Spent a great two days at the above conference 8-9 March in London (see http://www.sharepoint-events.com). Lot's of good information on the differences between SharePoint Portal Server and WSS, how to write and use web parts, make the best use of lists and document libraries.

I'm really hoping to get into WSS more and develop mobile centric applications around these sites.

Have the Microsoft Mobile DevCon coming up next in San Francisco 23-27 March where the focus on these topics will be much deeper.
